The 'land of the giants' section of the Missouri river is starting to fish really well. In the past few trips lots of big rainbows have been caught. The fishing at the land of the giants should only get better through the fall and into the winter. Now is the time that I start looking for the kokanee salmon to migrate into the river from Holter to spawn. The rainbows usually stack up thick behind them to eat their eggs. October and November are my favorite months to fish this river and you never know what you might hook into...true monster browns get caught here every fall.
